Elastic arms for track reconstruction with a scintillating fiber detector
Description
The elastic arm method is applied to track reconstruction in a scintillating fiber tracker for use in future detectors (LEP II, LHC). Raw data were pre-processed to produce microvectors which will constitute the input to the elastic arm algorithm. Results show good track reconstruction over 100 events and covering more than one thousand tracks. (orig.)
