Nuclear fusion method

Description

In a cold temperature nuclear fusion method, deuterium ions are accelerated and spiked into a hydrogen-occlusive metal or an alloy therof. In this case, the hydrogen-occlusive metal or the alloy is defined as single crystals. For example, if deuterium ions are spiked into the single crystal palladium at an acceleration energy of about 100 MeV to 1 MeV, the deuterium ions are injected in the lattice of the single crystal palladium, as well as the deuterium ions are accelerated more strongly by atoms present at the lattice points, and the injected deuterium atoms are collided to each other, to cause nuclear fusion. Deuteriums may be previously occluded in the hydrogen occlusive metal or the alloy, and then accelerated electron rays may be injected. Then, the generation efficiency of thermal energy can extremely be improved. (N.H.)
