Testing of 1/4'' diameter expansion anchors in repaired concrete
Creators

Description
Marble Hill Nuclear Plant specifications prohibited the use of short expansion anchors in patched concrete. In order to use these anchors, PSI performed testing in actual patches to determine allowable loads. Tests revealed that 1/4 Zoll Durchmesser anchors perform well in patches, but different patch materials affected behavior. Test results were compared favorably to those obtained in concrete for NRC IE Bulletin 79-02. (orig.)
