Solution of the wave equation using the 1/N expansion and perturbation methods

Description

It is first extended the existing perturbation method to an arbitrary dimension N, and then compared its operative steps with that of the recently proposed 1/N expansion method for solving the Schroedinger equation. It is argued that the latter cannot be treated at par with the former as far as the studies of potential problems through the Schroedinger equation are concerned
