Biological dose estimation for a person accidentally exposed to radiation and a follow-up study on chromosome aberrations

Description
For a person exposed to 60Co γ-rays, biological dose was estimated to be 1.46 Gy at early phase by analysing chromosome aberrations. This estimate of dose is nearly equal to physical dose estimation (1.42 Gy). The results show that dicentrics plus centric rings were the best indicator for biological dose estimation. At 3 years after exposure, frequency of chromosome aberration for this person was still higher than that in normal human
