Influence of soil on element content of Tojsojgan site zone vegetation

Underground nuclear tests carried out on Tojsojgan site (north-east part of Atyrau province) strongly changed ecological situation in this region. Accumulation of radioactive decay products and residuals of rocket fuel conduct to micro-element content change in the vegetation and soil. Conducted studies of micro-element content in plants and soil revealed to some accumulation regularities of copper, manganese, zinc, cadmium, lead. In majority of cases plants accumulate zinc, cadmium and lead at low accumulation rate of copper and manganese. That cause to depression and braking of a growth, necrosis and chlorosis and death of plants with following aridization of site area. Although in early spring a stormy growth and development of plants into giantism are noted
