Description
Doxorubicin was injected as a bolus through a balloon occlusion catheter placed in the renal artery in 7 patients with inoperable kidney neoplasms. Doxorubicin had good effect when no or only small distant metastases were present. If large metastases were present at the start of the treatment, no improvement was registered. (orig.)
