Experimental protocol for evaluating the THM properties of porous rock in a single transient loading test

Description

The loading conditions of some thermal and mechanical isotropic tests are analysed based on analytical solutions which are applied to a transient step loading protocol. This allows to measure a drained and an undrained parameter and to back calculate the permeability of a low permeability material in one single test. A demonstration is given in a test on the Callovo-Oxfordian claystone. (authors)

Abstract (French)

(auteurs)
