Integral cross-section measurements on fission-products in fast neutron fields
Description
An integral measurement program is in progress at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL). The major emphasis in this program is on neutron capture cross-section measurements in the Coupled Fast Reactivity Measurement Facility (CFRMF) and in the Experimental Breeder Reactor II (EBR-II). The CFRMF measurements utilize activation techniques to arrive at integral capture cross-section data and similarly the EBR-II measurements utilize isotope dilution mass spectrometry. This paper reviews the status of the INEL measurement program and compare measured data with the ENDF/B derived integrals. Briefly, the results of those comparisons show that the ENDF/B IV data are the order of 25% greater than the CFRMF
