Description
A numerical simulation of static vortices in a long Josephson contact of a width variable by the exponential law is made. Variations in the contact width result in a magnetic flux redistribution as compared to the case of linear one-dimensional model. The effect of the model parameters, in particular, the shape parameter, on stability of magnetic flux states is examined in details. The critical current-external magnetic field relation is plotted numerically
