Description
In order to obtain topological vortex solutions of minimal energy, we impose the self duality conditions on the scalar fields Β and φ. As a direct consequence of this procedure we obtain the Higgs potential in the Maxwell-Chern-Simons extended theory presenting both minimal and nonminimal coupling. We argue about certain relations among the parameters of the model in order to obtain such topological vortex configurations, and emphasize that the anomalous coupling is not restricted to one particular value.
