Description
A flow through miniature ionization chamber of 1 mL active volume has been set up and calibrated for the measurement of tritium and other tritium bearing components emerging from the gas chromatographic column. Current -voltage characteristics for the chamber and Calibration curve have been worked out to measure tritium bearing components in flowing stream at a flow rate of 60 mL/min. With the help of this ionization chamber detector, it is possible to find tritium concentrations as low as 10 pCi/mL with an accuracy of + 5% RSD. (author)
