On the results of testing massive foundations for NPP high-power turbines

Results of investigations into vibrating state of foundations for powerful turbine sets at the Novovoronezh NPP are generalized. Peculiarity of the foundations under consideration is that they represent a group of mountings rigid in vertical and transverse directions mounted on a rather pliable plate and vessels connected on the top and with the shaft of the turbine set. It is established that absolute amplitude values of vertical and horizontal oscillations differ considerably, at that the vertical and horizontal oscillations themselves are insignificant as compared with foundation movements as a solid body. The presence of the horizontal component of dynamical displacement of base of foundation results in the appearance of two basic types of oscillations - horizontal and rotatory. Oscillations have a nonlinear character. Asymmetry of scalar values of forced oscillation amplitudes of foundation points located symmetrically has been revealed
