Description
In order to support the construction and licensing of Ads MYRRHA, the MYRTE (MYRRHA Research and Transmutation Endeavour) project has been included in the Horizon 2020 program. Work Package 5 of this project, in particular, is devoted to the performance of a range of kinetic and integral experiments in the Venus-F zero-power reactor. Several critical cores were assembled and reactivity effects of In Pile Sections (Ips) and reflector materials were measured using the compensation with calibrated control rods or with the MSM method. The results of the measurements are compared with MCNP calculations. The sub-criticality level of the Sc-11 Venus-F configuration, which is the last one in the MYRTE project, is also presented in the paper. (Author)
