Slow magnetosound shock layer in a stream of interplanetary plasma from a power solar flare
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Zemnogo Magnetizma, Ionosfery i Rasprostraneniya Radiovoln
Description
An attempt to identify a slow magnetosound shock layer formed in the interplanetary medium at the motion of the blow-out from the powerful solar flare in it is described. Magnetic measurements are carried out with the help of artificial interplanetary stations ''Explorer 33'', ''Explorer 35'' on the 29, 30 of May and on the 1st of June 1968. The measurement results are presented in the form of tables and digrams of time distribution for magnetic field modulus, of the plasma introduction rate into the magnetic layer and of proton configuration. The complex of the data considered show uniformly the existance of slow magnetosound shock layer in the interplanetary flare stream
