Description
In this work we present some preliminary results on the multiplicity detector (MD) performance for the NA50 Experiment at CERN. We discuss the ability of MD in identifying the target foils where interesting interactions occurred. This analysis is based on a small part of the data sample collected in the 1996 lead run, when the MD was complete and functional for the first time. (author)
