An analysis study of ATWS accident for Guangdong Nuclear Power Plant
Description
Analytical results are described for three kinds of ATWS of Guangdong Nuclear Power Plant (GNPP), which are with typicalness. They are: loss of main feedwater ATWS (LOFW-ATWS), loss of nonemergency electric power ATWS (LONEP-ATWS) and uncontrolled rod withdrawal (UCRW-ATWS). A comparison is given between these results and those of the ATWS analysis in GNPP Final Safety Analysis Report. A sensitive study is performed for a number of parameters for LOFW-ATWS, with more severe consequences, and a discussion for LOFW-ATWS under 30% power level is also performed
