Generation and suppression of a new hyperchaotic system with double hyperchaotic attractors

Description

This Letter reports a novel four-dimensional hyperchaotic system with double coexisting hyperchaotic attractors. Complex dynamics of this new system are investigated numerically and analytically. Bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponent spectrum are employed to show the dynamics of the new hyperchaotic system. Based on the Ruth-Hurwitz criterion and linear feedback control, the hyperchaotic system is stabilized to unstable equilibrium, periodic and quasi-periodic orbit. Numerical simulations are given for the purpose of illustration and verification
