Angular dependence of cross sections for the (π+,2p) reaction on Li nuclei at 85+-4MeV

Description
For the (π+,2p) reaction on 6Li and 7Li nuclei the dependences have been measured of the differential cross sections on a proton emission angle, an angle between the outgoing protons, and the Treiman-Yang angle. The experimental results are compared with theoretical calculations performed in terms of the pole approximation of the pion plus capture by the nucleus quasideuteron. The angular distributions calculated with and without account of final-state interactions are shown to differ slightly. As a whole, a satisfactory agreement is observed between the experimental results and theoretical calculations
