Opening speech of the president of the Slovak Nuclear Society

In this speech, the president of SNUS reminded 30. anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and compares the victims with the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. He also discusses the development of nuclear technologies, the production of nuclear fuel. The Slovak Nuclear Society encourages joint efforts in favor of continuous improvement of the safe and reliable use of nuclear energy, which is the only real way forward for safe energy supplies in Slovakia and in the world. I believe that this year's NUSIM will also be helpful in our efforts.
