Anharmonic effects in pionic modes

  • 1. Departamento de Fisica da Univ., Coimbra

Description

Collective excitations carrying the quantum numbers of pions, in neutron matter, are investigated in the framework of the Generator coordinate Method. Quantal zero point fluctuations and the restrictions due to the Pauli principle are conveniently introduced. The relevance of anharmonic corrections is discussed
