Description
Nuclear Power Plant (NPPs) safety performance indicators are developed by nuclear operating organizations to monitor their own performance and progress to set their own challenging goals for improvements and to gain additional perspective on performance relative to that of other plants. In this paper we have tried to develop Performance Ratios (PR) for radiation protection, which are useful indicators of a nuclear facility's radiological situation. These ratios can be calculated from information provided by the periodic reports of the organization. Performance ratios can be used to analyze trends and compare the safety record of the organization with those of other plants. (author)
