Quenching of POPOP triplet states in the gas phase
Creators
Description
The authors studied the efficiency of the population of highly excited triplet states and elucidated the major paths of their relaxation. To achieve this the authors performed a mathematical analysis of the triplet absorption and illumination experimental data; also the authors studied the dissociation of POPOP molecules under conditions of powerful laser excitation. The mathematical description of the photophysical processes was performed by means of the kinetic model of transitions which describes the accumulation of vibrational energy in isolated molecules during the process of repeated excitation-emission cycles as a result of the difference between the energies of the exciting radiation and the luminescence
