A mathematic method for calculating nutrient uptake by plants was wasted through experimentation. The resulting data was not accurate enough to draw definite conclusions. However, some hypothetical conclusions were drawn mainly to get as much information as possible to improve future work. 4 refs, 2 figs, 3 tabs
