Description

A set of uranium concentration measurement device with gamma absorption method in laboratory was designed and processed. The device uses the fast silicon drift detector as the detector and 241Am as the radioactive source. Four groups of uranium standard solutions (10.25 g/L, 50.25 g/L, 90.23 g/L and 124.30 g/L) were configured to establish the working curve of uranium concentration, and the precision, accuracy and stability of the system were tested. The experimental results show that the apparatus can effectively avoid the effect of gamma rays and X rays on the measurement of the fission fragment in uranium solution. Fitting linearity of the working curve R2 = 0.9999; The RSD of uranium solutions with different concentrations (10.25 g/L, 90.23 g/L, 252.796 g/L) was 2.29%, 0.49%, 0.19%. The relative error was 2.4%. Continuous measurement for 10 h, all data fall within μ ± 3 s. (authors)
