Effect of ionic liquids on the extraction of rare-earth elements by bidentate neutral organophosphorus compounds from chloride solutions

Description
The partition of microamounts of rare earth chlorides (RE = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, and Y) between aqueous HCl and organic solutions of tetraphenylmethylenediphosphine dioxide, diphenyl(diethylcarbamoylmethyl)phosphine oxide, and dibutyl(diethylcarbamoylmethyl)phosphine oxide was studied in the presence of ionic liquids: 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate and 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide. The stoichiometry of extracted complexes was determined. The effect of the aqueous HCl concentration, the nature of the extractant, and the organic diluent on the efficiency of rare earth extraction was studied

Изучено межфазное распределение микроколичеств хлоридов La, Се, Pr, Nd, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Но, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu и Y между водными растворами НСl и растворами диоксида тетрафенилметилендифосфина, оксидов дифен (диэтилкарбамоилметил)фосфина и дибутил(диэтилкарбамоилметил)фосфина в органических растворителях в присутствии ионных жидкостей - гексафторфосфата 1-бутил-3-метилимидазолия и бис(трифторметилсульфонил)имида 1-бутил-3-метилимидазолия. Определена стехиометрия экстрагируемых комплексов, рассмотрено влияние концентрации НСl в водной фазе, природы экстрагента и органического разбавителя на эффективность экстракции РЗЭAdditional details
