Container for long-term storage of burnt-up nuclear reactor fuel elements
Description
Fins project on the outer surface, which divide the outer surface into segments. A protective coating is applied between the fins. In order to provide this container with a corrosion-resistant protective coating, which is simpler to apply and less sensitive to expansion stresses of the two materials fitted together, the fins are made of corrosion resistant, chemically resistant material. An der Aussenoberflaeche stehen Rippen hervor, die die Aussenoberflaeche segmentfoermig aufteilen. Zwischen den Rippen ist eine Schutzschicht aufgebracht. Um diesen Behaelter mit einer korrosionsbestaendigen Schutzschicht zu versehen, die einfacher aufzutragen und unempfindlicher gegen Ausdehnungsspannungen der beiden zusammengefuegten Werkstoffe ist, sind Rippen aus korrosionsfestem, chemisch bestaendigem Werkstoff angeordnet.
