Ultra-short laser plasma interaction studies at RRCAT

  • 1. Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai (India)

Description

Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology is pursuing studies on ultra-short laser pulse generation and its applications in various scientific fields. Extensive work has been carried out on higher order harmonic generation in plasma plumes, which is envisaged as the primary route to achieve atto second optical pulses. The talk will cover all the above aspects and give an overview of the activities being carried out on ultrashort pulse generation and its application at RRCAT
