Majorana neutrino signatures of heavy Z bosons at the SSC [Superconducting Super Collider]
Description
If a heavy Z' boson of an extra U(1) group is discovered, then we should expect a large fraction of its decays to be into two heavy Majorana neutrinos. The most distinct property of Majorana neutrinos is that they can decay to states of opposite charge content. The pair of neutrinos is therefore a source of dileptons, and we show that a characteristic feature of these signatures is that the like- and opposite-sign dilepton distributions are the same
