Phase transitions in C-15 compounds
Description
The temperature dependences elastic properties of compounds with the S-15 structure are investigated. Diagrams of the dependences of phase transition temperatures on the stoichmetry of the ZrVsub(2+-y) compound and on composition of the Zrsub(1-x)Hfsun(x)Vsub(2) alloys are plotted. A strong frequency dispersion of the longitudinal sound velocity in the Hf2 is revealed which could be associated with transition of the compound to the state with a disproportionate charge density wave
