Description

Single crystals of UP/sub 0.80/S/sub 0.20/ have been studied by neutron diffraction and magnetization measurements. In zero magnetic field below T/sub N/ = 90 K UP/sub 0.80/S/sub 0.20/ orders successively with two incommensurate phases followed below T/sub IC/ = 78 K and T0 = 42 K by two commensurate phases, corresponding to the (3+,3-) and type-IA (2+,2-) sequences, respectively. The application of magnetic fields decreases T/sub N/, destroys the incommensurate phases, and induces ferrimagnetic phases. The (H,T) magnetic phase diagram of UP/sub 0.80/S/sub 0.20/ is proposed
