Estimation of external cost for nuclear fuel cycle in the ExternE project

Description
The review of studies dealing with estimation of nuclear fuel cycle external cost realized within the international project ExternE is given. Specific features of impacts connected with nuclear fuel cycle are discussed. The data characterizing radiation doses, radiation effects on personnel and population health are analyzed. External cost estimates for different stages of nuclear fuel cycle of the 900 MW(e) PWR type reactor as applied to conditions typical for France are considered
