Progress in materials research for fusion reactors
Description
The advance since 1974 in material technology for fusion reactors is discussed in the areas of structural metals, non-metals and radiation environment. Specific examples are given illustrating the degree of progress and the new ideas which have been proposed for their solution. Observations are also made on the use of scarce materials in high-powered reactor designs. (author)
