Description
The isotopic distribution of dissipation fragmentation reaction of 44 MeV/u 129Xe provided by GANIL at France on Zr target has been measured. A focal plane detector with measuring the energy and range of products and TOF are used to get particle identification by the way of certain software modification. A modified Abrasion-Ablation model with considering the thickness of neutron-skin predicted by the droplet model and empirical one body dissipation at intermediate energy is used to fit the experimental results. From this study, the following results can be obtained: The reaction process is not a pure fragmentation process when using a heavy projectile at intermediate energy but a complex process included fragmentation, nucleon transfer and dissipation process. The excitation energy of fragment is not only composed of the excess-surface energy but included the dissipation energy so that the reaction products will be moved in the direction of β-stability line by evaporating more nucleon and particle. Therefore, to get secondary beam of heavy exotic nucleus or to synthesize new heavy isotope, the yields must be improved by choosing the type and thickness of increasing the energy of target or projectile
