4 years of experience with a general anticoagulant prophylaxis in the irradiation of carcinoma colli uteri are reported on. The regression of embolism mortality and thrombosis morbidity by appr. 2/3 can be seen as a confirmation of the advantages of such a prophylaxis. (MG)

Es wird ueber die 4 jaehrige Erfahrung mit einer generellen Antikoagulantienprophylaxe bei Bestrahlung des Gebaermutterhalskarzinoms berichtet. Der Rueckgang der Emboliemortalitaet und Thrombosemobilitaet um ca. 2/3 kann als Bestaetigung fuer den Nutzen einer solchen Prophylaxe gelten. (MG)Additional details
