Computer control systems for the industrial electron accelerators at BARC

Description
Two electron industrial accelerators are presently under construction at this center. One is a 3 MeV DC Dynamitron type of accelerator with a beam power rating of 30 kW (10 mA); the other is a 10 MeV RF electron linac with a beam power of 10 kW (1 mA average beam current). A third accelerator, 500 keV, 20 mA, 10 kW Cockcroft-Walton type of DC accelerator has already been constructed and installed at the BRIT campus, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Some novel features in the control system of these are discussed accelerators
