Fragment properties and prompt neutron emission for fission of uranium

Description

The influence of the prompt neutron emission on the properties of 238U fission fragments has been observed. It is concluded that the neutron emission before the nucleus rupture do exists. The yield of the prefission neutron components is evaluated to be on the level of 10-3
