Iron and indium interactions during mechanical attrition

Description

The process of immiscible at equilibrium elements' - iron and indium - interactions during their common mechanical attrition in high energy planetary type activator have been studied by means of Moessbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron microscopy measurements. The peculiarities of the Moessbauer spectra parameters distribution clarified the metastable Fe(In) solution formation in the boundaries region just after 30 min of attrition
