Study of baryonic isoscalar system with strangeness number S=+1 near 1750 MeV from the analysis of the reaction K0sub(L)p→K0sub(S)p

Description

The cross section of reaction K0sub(L)p→K0sub(S)p, as also its angular distribution, have been determined for K0sub(L) pulses extending from 650 to 1200 MeV/c and this corresponds to nine energy intervals in the mass center reference system ranging from 1605 to 1910 MeV. The expression of the amplitude of this reaction that is obtained according to the various baryonic amplitudes KN→Z0 S=1, I=0 or KN→Z1, S=1, I=1 and antiKN Y1, S=-1, I=1 obviously depends on the various phase shift analysis solutions obtained for these three amplitudes. Our results shown in frequency distribution form 1/sigma.dsigma/d cos theta* of standard cross sections as from those of the K0sub(L)p→Λ0PI+ reaction and development coefficients of Legendre polynomials are first compared with the predictions of previous phase shift analyses before in turn entering into a new study of the same kind, so as to determine a single solution for amplitude Z0

Abstract (French)

La section efficace de la reaction K0sub(L)p→K0sub(S)p ainsi que sa distribution angulaire ont ete mesurees pour des impulsions de K0sub(L) allant de 650 a 1200 MeV/c ce qui correspond a neuf intervalles d'energie dans le referentiel du centre de masse allant de 1605 a 1910 MeV. L'expression de l'amplitude de cette reaction que l'on obtient en fonction des differentes amplitudes baryoniques KN→Z0, S=1, I=0 ou KN→Z1, S=1, I=1 et antiKN Y1, S=-1, I=1 depend evidemment des differentes solutions d'analyse en dephasage obtenues pour ces trois amplitudes. Nos resultats donnes sous forme de distributions de frequences 1/sigma.dsigma/dcos theta* de sections efficaces normalisees a partir de celles de la reaction K0sub(L)p→Λ0PI+ et de coefficients de developpement en polynomes de Legendre sont d'abord compares aux predictions de precedentes analyses en dephasage avant d'entrer a leur tour dans une nouvelle etude du meme type de facon a determiner une solution unique pour l'amplitude Z0
