Radioactivity of soils from north-west side of Stara planina mountain

Description
In this paper specific activities of 238U, 232Th, 40K and 137Cs in soil samples collected from north-west side of Stara planina in 2006 are presented. Specific activities varied between 15.1 and 34.0 Bq/kg for 238U; 16.8 and 44.6 Bq/kg for 232Th; 358 and 765 Bq/kg for 40K and 3.89 and 58.7 Bq/kg for 137Cs. The wide ranges of specific activities are influenced by a variety of geological and ecological features of the investigated area. (author)
Abstract (Serbian)
U radu su prikazani rezultati merenja specificne aktivnosti 238U, 232Th, 40K i 137Cs u uzorcima zemljista sakupljenih sa severozapadnog dela Stare planine tokom 2006. godine. Specificne aktivnosti su varirale od 15,1 do 34,0 Bq/kg za 238U, od 16,8 do 44,6 Bq/kg za 232Th, od 358 do 765 Bq/kg za 40K i od 3,89 do 58,7 Bq/kg za 137Cs. Siroki opsezi specificnih aktivnosti su posledica raznovrsnosti geoloskih i ekoloskih karakteristika ispitivanog prostoraFiles
