Description
Leaching tests, herein referred to as the Multiple Extraction Leaching process, were carried out in the laboratory to determine the concentration of the natural radionuclides uranium and thorium in the leachate. For the simulation, a sample of the residue was successively leached at defined time intervals, with aliquots of the leachate being removed and the same amount of fluid removed with distilled water being replaced in the system
