Reduction of C-C multiple bonds by gaseous tritium for preparation of compounds with high molar radioactivity. IV. Preparation of [17, 18-3H]prostaglandin E21
Creators
Description
Conditions are found for selective hydrogenation of the 17, 18 double bond in prostaglandin E3. Use of this method produces [17, 18-3H]prostaglandin E2 in 40-45% yield with a molar radioactivity of 1.5-1.6 PBq/mole in addition to [5, 6, 17, 18-3H]prostaglandin E1 in 10-15% yield with molar radioactivity of 2.8-2.9 PBq/mole
