Description
The author surveyed the results of American, European and Asian opinion research about nuclear power generation around eight years after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident and analyzed current public opinion trends toward nuclear power generation in the US, Europe and Asia. It was found that the percentage of Americans who had a positive attitude towards nuclear power generation was high, however, the other survey shows the percentage of Americans who had a positive attitude became lower than that of negative attitude. Among people in the UK and Czech, it was found that the positive attitude towards nuclear power plants has continued to be held. On the other hand, it was found more than a half people in Germany had negative attitude towards nuclear power. (author)

福島第一原子力発電所事故後8年における米欧アジアの原子力発電に関する既存の世論調査結果について調査し,海外での原子力発電に対する世論動向を分析した.米国においては,人々の原子力発電に対する支持は引き続き高いとする調査がある一方,賛否が逆転したとする調査結果もある.一方,欧州における世論調査結果については,英国,チェコにおいて支持が不支持を上回っているが,ドイツにおいては原子力発電を廃止すべきという人が過半数を超えている.(著者)Additional details
