Reactivity meter for nuclear reactors
Description
Design and operational principle of nuclear reactor reactivity meter are described. Reactivity meter includes an analog-to-digital converter with intermediate convertion of the analog signal into the frequency of pulses to the inlet of which the analog signal is supplied while the digital outlet is connected with reactivity calculator. The introduction of the dividing unit and pulse frequency reactor period meter the inlet of which is connected with the frequency outlet of the analog-to-digital converter and the outlet is connected with the inlet of the dividing unit, permits to increase substantially the accuracy of measurements
