This paper reports on the recent total cross section, σtot, and ρ-value results from the Fermilab Tevatron Collider experiments, presented at the 4th Blois Workshop on Elastic and Diffractive Scattering, held at Elba in May 1991, provide a natural springboard from which to launch a focused review of the field
