Polymorphism of boron nitride

Description

A thorough radiographic analysis of BN polycrystals with different BN content (from 1 to 15%) is carried out. Samples of boron nitride polycrystals in the initial state (after sintering) and during heating are studied. It is shown, that alongside with phase polymorphism in boron nitride, a special kind of polymorphism, conditioned by the change in contributions of different interatomic bonds under the effect of temperature and pressure, is manifested
