The use of pressed LiF for thermoluminescence dosimetry without furnace annealing
Description
A method is described employing bare pressed LiF plaques annealed in a conventional reader subsequent to read-out of the thermoluminescence, thus eliminating the need for furnace annealing. Most of the studies were carried out both on LiF with the natural isotope abundances, and on 7Li-enriched material. The findings were essentially the same for both.
