Effect of selfcompensation of time mark shift in scintillation time-of-flight systems during two-particle event detection

Description
The process of two-particle event detection in scintillation modular-type time-of-flight systems is analysed. It is shown that under linear addition of signals received from PEM almost complete compensation of time mark shift under particle spread up to ≅ 80 cm takes place at output of time mark shapers with a tracking threshold. Measurements of selfcompensation effect under model conditions and for the GAMMA-1 γ telescope time-of-flight system, are performed
