Structure and reactions of paramagnetic products of radiolysis of β-L-arabinose
Description
Gamma radiolysis of arabinose monocrystals was studied in the 77-430 K range by the method of electron spin resonance. It was established that stabilized electrons and alkoxyradicals with a localized unpaired electron on the O2 atom represent the primary paramagnetic products of radiolysis. Free radicals formed during thermal destruction of the primary products were identified, the mechanisms of their formation and subsequent transformations were suggested
