Update on waste management policies and programmes

In addition to the regular items on national, international and NEA programme activities, this third edition of the Bulletin contains two special contributions. First, an Editorial has been provided by the NEA Radioactive Waste Management Committee which comments on the concept of geological disposal for long-lived, high-level radioactive waste. Second, an article on the status of in-situ research and investigations for geological disposal in OECD countries is featured in the Topical Report section.
